List of piercings for minors age 13+: earlobe, paired earlobes, cartilage/helix/flat, nostril, conch, tragus, rook, septum, eyebrow or navel. If not listed, it’s not offered to minors. We do not offer daith or industrial piercings on younger clients. Piercings are anatomy dependent. In some cases, we may need to turndown piercings due to anatomy.

Swimming and sports: If your child is enrolled in swimming or other sports, getting a piercing is best after the season ends. Healing a piercing can take 4-6 months for earlobes and 9-12+ months for any cartilage piercing. Submerging a healing piercing in large bodies of water, covering piercings with waterproof band aids or temporarily removing the piercing for practice or competition will cause complications during healing and/or close up if the jewelry is temporarily removed.

Piercer’s discretion: In some cases, we may need to turndown piercings due to anatomy, recreational activities or other reasons. It is up to the piercer’s discretion if they are comfortable doing the piercing on a minor after a consultation.

There are no age restrictions to purchase jewelry, however, all clients must be 18 years or older to have new jewelry installed. If under the age of 18, we do require a parent or legal guardian present in the piercing room to install jewelry, remove jewelry, consult or do a downsize follow up.
